Seavington House

Seavington House

BBUK were appointed by London Borough Southwark to collaborate with Maccreanor Lavington Architects on Seavington Court site which is being developed to provide approximately 24 new homes for social rent. The site is located half-way between Denmark Hill and East Dulwich train stations.

The landscape brief is to provide amenity and play areas in accordance with The London Plan 2021 and LB Southwark policy. This includes cycle parking and designing sensitively to retain the maximum number of existing trees on the site. The landscape seeks to build on the architectural proposals enhancing them and creating a site-specific response so that the new homes sit comfortably within the local context.

Our scheme introduces a range of planted spaces alongside ground floor private residents’ gardens, will provide quality, well-being and sustainable amenity spaces and in turn strengthen the existing of open and green space in the local context.
