Shortlisted for RIBA Stirling Prize 2019 & Neave Brown Award for Housing 2019

Working with Mikhail Riches Architects, BBUK were appointed to design the shared open spaces and communal gardens for 100 new passivhaus homes in Norwich, all of which are affordable.  Each house has a private front and back garden, with rear gardens connecting to a gated shared space so that opportunities for informal play and community cohesion are nurtured.  New play is provided between the site and existing houses to help embed the new development within the existing community.
