Working with Mikhail Riches, BBUK designed all areas of public realm, communal amenity spaces and private rear and front gardens for 105 new homes in Norwich all built to passivhaus standards and 100% for social rent.
Shared space running between the rear of the terraced housing provides a safe areas for younger children to play. Planted with trees, shrubs with climbers along boundary fences, the space also features benches and picnic tables for resident’s use. A new play area is sited in the northeast corner of the site so it can be used by both new and existing local residents, helping to embed the new development within the existing community
