CAMDEN - PLANNING

BBUK worked with Mole Architects on a six-storey residential scheme at Daleham Gardens for the CLT which has been granted planning permission from the London Borough of Camden.

The Hampstead based scheme sits on a slopping site and consists of 14 flats, six of which are available for market sale with a further six to be offered at a discount and the remaining two offered for social rent. The building design reflects aspects of the character, material and details of the historic buildings within the conservation area without trying to be a copy of the Arts and Crafts style.

The building is set back from the road to provide a generous front garden, and the surrounding landscape incorporates the different site levels with a flight of steps surrounded by terraced planters leading from the front of the site to a shared garden space at the rear enclosed by planting for added privacy.
