Located on the rural-urban fringe outside St Albans on the former site of the Burston garden centre, this new retirement village will provide high quality, modern accommodation for later living. The masterplan has been landscape and heritage led with the groups of buildings arranged around a series of distinctive green spaces that link the buildings physically and visually to each other and the wider context whilst retaining views to and from the Grade II* listed Burston Manor on the site’s north-western border and the adjacent woodlands to the south east.
