TUNBRIDGE WELLS - POST PLANNING
Working with AHMM and Pegasus Life BBUK designed courtyards, arrival space and back of house areas for an older living development in Tunbridge Wells.
Two main blocks of accommodation sit either side of west facing courtyard gardens. The southern courtyard connects with communal sitting room and cafe and the northern courtyard is surrounded by apartments. New large trees will be planted along the building’s frontage to continue the planting of front garden trees along the remainder of the road. The southern and eastern boundaries of the site are planted with mixed native trees to screen views and add to the site’s bio-diversity.
The project gained planning permission in 2017. It has since been sold to Elysian Properties and BBUK are now amending the proposals for the new owners.
